        In today's environment the demand for management and computer professionals are increasing at a faster rate. In this scenario, the professionals have to be educated and trained in a professional environment with proper blend of theory and practice. With this backdrop, Kakatiya Institute of Management Studies has emerged and been striving with this mission since 1993.

        Kakatiya Institute of Management Studies is one of the most sought after Colleges under Kakatiya University area for Professional Courses like M.B.A., M.C.A., under Private Management. It has started in the year 1993 with a mission to professionally educate and train the future professionals and to make them competitively fit in the competitive world.

        The College has started initially with MBA Course with an annual intake of 30. Later on it has been increased to 60 and further enhanced to 120 during 2004-2005. Soon after starting MBA Course and successfully running it, the College also started MCA Course during 1994-1995 with an annual intake of 30 and later on it has been increased to 60 during the year 2001-2002. The College has acquired a good reputation among student community for MBA and MCA Courses during all these years.

        The College is located in its own permanent Building in a 5 acre land with scenic and peaceful surrounding. It is just 5 Kms. away from Karimnagar town on Karimnagar - Jagtial road. The building consists of a number of spacious classrooms, Conference and Seminar Hall, equipped with audio and video facilities. The college has modern computer labs, a well-equipped library and it provides an excellent academic climate conducive for academic growth.

PROMOTER:

        The college is run under Swetha Educational Society, promoted by a qualified personality Dr. P. Ravinder Rao, who is well known among education circles. Under his able leadership, the College is running successfully all over these years and achieving greater success. The society main aim is to offer quality education to professional students.

DEPARTMENTS:

        The College has two Departments, namely, Dept. of Business Management & Dept. of Computer Science. The departments have experienced faculty offering their services to students for enhancing their abilities. Faculty support various activities of students and guide them in designing themselves to meet the challenges of today's' environment. The departments organize various seminars, symposiums, and conduct various Guest lectures drawn from eminent academic circles and various corporate circles. Under Department of Business of Management, the department organizes students Management meets in order to develop competitiveness among students so that they get an opportunity to show their talents and skills. The college sends the students to visit various industries and different industrial places.
